Mad River Path hosts 4 StoryWalks Summer of 2017

06 22 2017

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to wooden stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you're directed to the next page in the story. The Mad River Path Association has been hosting StoryWalks for about 10 years. Here is the schedule for this summer:
Warren Path (behind the Warren School and Brooks Field
June 16-June 30: Zoom by Istvan Banyai
June 30- July 14: A House for a Hermit Crab by Eric Carle

Waits Way (behind the Wait House and Waitsfield School)

July 14-28: GEM by Hollie Hobbie

July 28-August 11: Stella, the Fairy of the Forest by Marie- Louise Gay
StoryWalks® have been installed in 50 states and 11 countries including, Germany, Canada, England, Bermuda, Russia, Malaysia and Pakistan! They are always received with appreciation. StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
